The Lab goes to Linz

Overview: The second OpenLab was hosted by Ars Electronica, the renowned institute for arts, technology, and society based in Linz, Austria. Creative Director Gerfried Stocker and his team put together a most inspiring programme for the ETL team, including a guided tour through the Ars Electronica exhibitions, presentations by renowned media artists and an overwhelming experience of virtually stepping into the newest digital 3D projections, as well as interactive games in the projection space called “Deep Space 8K”. It was an inspiring day that points to what is possible in the digital arts today – both on stage and beyond. — Click here to read Part 1 of the full report.
